Last June, the National Parks Conservation Association asked folks to participate in a survey regarding their interest and knowledge of climate change. The purpose of the survey was to expand and improve climate change communication in and around our national parks. Thank you to all (47 business owners) who took the survey!
NPCA, Kenai Fjords National Park and Preserve, and the Seward Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a workshop to discuss and brainstorm what businesses and individuals can do to partner with organizations and inspire each other with ideas about positive actions, mitigations, and adaptations to climate change. We will also talk about the survey results and provide lunch for attendees. Even if you didn’t take the survey, you are welcome to come to the workshop!
The location is entirely dependent on the most central place for those attending the workshop: Soldotna, Seward or Cooper Landing.
