Seward Alaska: Through Young Eyes

Dear Friends,

fast payday loans for every one

In my first/second grade classroom at Seward Elementary School, we are beginning a unit on Seward history.  As many of you know, the museum is already being packed up for its move into the new building!

We hope that community members will help fill the gaps in our studies by writing to our class and sharing their personal stories and photos about experiences with Seward that relate to its history. We hope you can share stories with us about historic places and events such as the tsunami in 1964, historic buildings in town, the AK Railroad, and the Alaskan Flag. Perhaps you are related to someone who lived in the Jesse Lee home or a Seward pioneer? Maybe you live or work in one of Seward’s historic buildings. We’d love it if you would share with us!

Please note that since much of what we learn during this unit will be shared with the public, you may find some facts or tidbits from your letters in the newspaper or on a website!

Thank you kindly for your help!
