During this storm, Chugach Electric Association and Seward electric department are experiencing a few outages. The Electric department strongly recommends you turn off any unessential electronics in your home because power surges can easily damage these items. Also be sure to backup computer files on a regular basis. Repair crews are working around the clock to make all necessary repairs, but this could take a few days.
