Central Peninsula Garden Club monthly program meeting, is Tuesday, December 1st.
“First Comes the Dream, the history of Trinity Greenhouse” presented by Ron and Dan Sexton. Beginning with “Trinity Campers” in the 1960’s and their greenhouse adventure, Ron and Kathy Sexton and Dan and Juli
Sexton built their businesses over many years to what we see at Trinity Greenhouse on Kalifornsky Beach Road today. While Dan sold his share of the business in 2005, he and Juli still help during the busy time of the summer season. Long known for quality plants and locally mixed and bagged, “Master’s Mix” potting soil, the greenhouse is one of the busiest in the area. Learn about some of the new features planned for the 2010 growing season.
Ron has participated in the Alaska Farm Bureau, Kenai peninsula Farm Bureau, Alaska Horticultural Assc., member of Governor Hickel’s Agricultural Task Force, and a member of the Central Peninsula Garden Club.
