(6 votes, average: 4.17 out of 5)The Resurrection Bay Conservation Alliance (RBCA) is hosting its 3rd Annual: “Locally Grown, Close to Home, Beer, Wine and Food Tasting” membership drive and fundraiser on Friday, November 20, 2009 7pm at the Alaska Sea Life Center. As part of the event, we are asking area chefs, food connoisseurs, and cooks to share their favorite Alaskan appetizer or dessert and compete for the honor of most “savory Alaskan delight”. The Grand Prize Winner will get lots of kudos, applause, and a weekend trip for 2 to the Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge courtesy of Alaska Wildland Adventures (http://www.alaskawildland.com/kenai-fjords-glacier-lodge.htm)! Other prizes will be awarded also. Entries will be judged on taste, presentation, creativity, and abundance of Alaska grown products. There is no entry fee to participate.
