AVTEC’s own Alaska Culinary Academy restaurant, The Academy Café, is open Oct. 21 to Dec. 16 during the A’ la Carte and Dining Service classes. This is a combination of two classes that run consecutively, rotating the students through all areas of fine dining, from food production to dining room set-up and service. The Café is a perfect opportunity for students to get hands-on training in a restaurant setting.
At the Café, diners will experience a scrumptious, constantly changing menu that students themselves create and present. This fall’s menu will have an “Italian Cuisine” theme.
Open Tuesday through Friday from Oct. 21 to Dec. 16
Seating times at 6, 6:30, 7 and 7:30 p.m. The maximum table seating is 6 people. Please, no large groups.

- Cost is $15 per plate (cash or check only).
- Located in the Culinary Department at 518 3rd Avenue near the AVTEC cafeteria.
