Fall is here, and we are well on our way and in the final stages of constructing the new Disc Golf Course.

Located between the Seward High School and the Middle School, on the Metco Trail System and Cross Country Running Course, this course winds through towering hemlocks, spruce, and a forest floor blanketed with ferns and moss. It provides a setting of great beauty, instills a sense of peace and should not be one of Seward’s best kept secrets.
At this point; the baskets have been installed, the tee pads have been poured, the signs and discs are underway and the kiosk (which will give an overview of the course) is being built. We still have quite a bit of grooming to do around the tee pads, the signs will need to be installed and we are planning for our Grand Opening – hopefully Mid-October. Sooo, we could still use help on the trail and would appreciate any and all ideas for the Grand Opening Tournament/Clinic. If anyone would like to help with the completion of this project or the Grand Opening it would be much appreciated. Please contact Julie Lindquist at 288-3166 or Jackie Marshall at 224-8445.

Also correct Cource to Course, Coolage to Coolidge. Otherwise, it looks great!

Really?

No, not really. Might as well go ahead and correct ‘amature’ to ‘amateur’ while you’re at it and then it should be OK.
