WHO IS LOOKING OUT FOR US

A dose of politics every day will preserve our God given right to “…Life, Liberty and Pursuit for Happiness…” It can be found at the local council chambers, in the mass media, in radio and from daily chats. Elected political leaders sometimes forget they are our eyes, ear and our voice; they should be representing our community’s best interests at the Local, State and National level. Instead we are constantly being stripped of our freedom by passing Bills upon Bills in Congress to limit our rights as american citizens guaranteed by our Constitution. Issue of govt. controlled health care is one of them.
The majority of americans oppose it, because the average Joe and Jane paid attention to politics. Even our community is also paying attention and have called our representatives in Congress. President Obama has the lowest job approval rating of any recent Presidents at 42-45 percent at this time according to Rasmussen Polling, yet he and Congress are stills adamant on passing the Bill. I ask, who’s looking out for our best interest? Democrats and the President argue that 47-50 million americans do not have health insurance. The fact remains that only 14 million who do not have health insurance due to circumstances. Congress and President Obama should be fixing the problem instead of using the crisis to expand the government control on us. Here’s the link to the truth: http://www.census.gov/prod/2008pubs/p60-235.pdf http://www.ncpa.org/sub/dpd/index.php?Article_ID=18125
It’s sad to hear and see on media that americans at town hall meeting opposing the govt. care are labeled by elected Democrat leaders as “fascists,” “brown coats,” “evil-mongers,” and accusing of race baiting because Obama is black. (These names calling usually are reserved for Communists like Mao Zedong who murdered his own people and 0.6-1.2 million Tibetans since China invaded Tibet). They charge that it’s a “rightwing” Republican attempt. Don’t you think after researching the 1000+ page Bill and listening to unbiased media, both Democrats and Republican voters realized it was not in the best interest of the american people? And why didn’t the Bill include Congress, Supreme Court and the President in the govt. health care Bill? Didn’t we elect them to represent us? Due to costs, If Canada, Western Europe and Cuba are morally compromising who lives and dies because of age and disability, why is the Democrat Party and President Obama insisting in that direction? Who’s vision are they aspiring too?
President Obama will be beaming in classrooms all across american on Tuesday. Instead he should be focusing creating jobs and protecting our great nation. The unemployment rate right now is at 9.7 percent which is the highest in 26 years. We citizens are paying attention to politics.

david5eaward-
Just a few days ago, I actually sat down and wrote to Sen. Mark Begich to personally thank him for continuing to speak out in favor the public option, even though it now, sadly, appears to be a lost cause. I thanked him for recognizing that for any number of people to be going without access to affordable health care in this country was a terrible tragedy, and for working so hard to remedy that. I thanked him for realizing that the opposition to health care reform is coming from a very vocal, very angry and very scared minority. A minority who are so deeply afraid of any change to the status quo, be it health care reform or the election of the country’s first African-American President, that they react with hostility and anger to progress, all while calling themselves “revolutionaries”. I certainly hope he was listening.
You might think that 14 million Americans without health care coverage is an acceptable number, but I do not (and by the way, the correct figure is 45.7 million).

No one should die because they cannot afford health care, and no one should go broke because they get sick.
Keep it simple.

What do Americans oppose? You didn’t say. You really like to include “facts” in your statements that are known to be false, and you continue to not use spell check.

The majority of people do NOT want public health care,, tax tax tax is all they know. Have anyone one of these people ever held a real job? We need Sara Palin to run the show but she is too honest to ever succeed in a corrupt system.

Sanator Begich wants you to hear you (not really). He is scheduled to have a town hall meeting this Friday 25th September at Barlett High School in Anchorage from 5:30pm-7:30pm. It’s the first meeting for Begich since Americans across America took to the Town Hall meetings to voice opposition against govt. controlled health care. It has worked and the President and the Democrats are backing off trying to control you and me in the name of providing govt. care.
You might as well head to Anchorage this friday and experience real American trying to preserve our country.

This is actually his third health care speech for Begich in Anchorage since Glenn Beck and Dick Armey sent their sheep to do the dirty work of their corporate backers. And he had a Health Care town hall a couple weeks before it became the cool thing for teabaggers to make fools of themselves at these events.
