The City of Seward desires to receive time and material price proposals for replacement of 2 exterior doors on the Fire Station.

Major materials are supplied by the City and on site. Requests for specifications and related proposal documents should be obtained through the Seward Fire Department, P.O. Box 167, Seward, Alaska 99664, by phone (907) 224-3445, or via email: sewardfd@cityofseward.net

Sealed price proposals must be received by the office of the City Clerk for the City of Seward, as specified in the Information for Proposal document, by the close of business (5:00pm) on Monday July 6th, 2009. The proposals received will be opened publicly in the City Hall Council Chambers beginning at 9:00am on Tuesday July 7th, 2009.

The selection of the qualified proposal will be at the sole discretion of the City of Seward and the City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or not to award the contract if deemed in the best interest of the City. Price is only one of the factors to be used to evaluate the proposals, as described in the specification documents.

This solicitation does not commit the City of Seward to pay any cost incurred in the preparation of the proposal or to award any contract.
