The Strengthening Families Program for Parents and Youth Ages 10 & up begins Tuesday, October 7.
Parent discussions and fun family activities are planned over seven weekly sessions.
Parents discuss making house rules, how to follow through with consequences and identifying stresses in youth.
Youth will learn how to handle frustration, resist peer pressure and visualize their dreams and goals for the future.
Sessions will be held at Seward Elementary. A light dinner and childcare will be provided at no cost. Transportation is also available.
There is no charge for the sessions, but registration is required as space is limited to eight families per class.
Please call Erika at 224-2954 to register your family.
