Caution! Bears sited in the area.
State law and city ordinance requires that trash be stored in suitable containers and/or racks and in such a manner that prevents the attraction or access by wildlife or the spillage by wind, weather, animals or accident.
Violators may receive a $50.00 citation.

So, do the cops and troopers actually stop folks with trash flying out of thier trucks??
Haven’t seen any citations listed in the Log for this breaking of the law…
Meanwhile, I’ve seen lots of trash on the highway since the Clean Up day Seward had a few weeks ago.
