Plastic Recycling at Seward Transfer Station

Our transfer station is now accepting some plastics for recycling. Plastics marked 1 or 2 on the bottom will now be able to be recycled! Good news.

Look at your plastic containers and find the number on the bottom, usually with a triangle around the number and if they are a number one or a number two you can take them out to our transfer station. There will be a separate container available. The number ones and twos are plastic milk jugs and plastic drink containers, but check them all for those numbers.

Currently our station can take corrugated cardboard boxing, office, colored, and computer paper, newspaper, container glass, aluminum cans.

Oh, by the way, my Elementary student brought home this information last week. Happy recycling!
