patch.BMPQuestion: Does a vehicle that does not run still have to be registered?

Answer: That depends on the vehicle’s location. If the vehicle is parked in a city parking lot or on a roadway, then yes. If the vehicle is parked on private property, then no. If and when the vehicle becomes operational again, it must be currently registered before it is driven or moved on a highway or vehicular way.
