Question: When are studded tires prohibited?

Answer: From May 1st thru September 15th.

Operating with studded tires is a correctable ticket, which means that when issued a ticket for this offense, the operator has 10 days to bring the ticket and the vehicle to the police department and show that the studded tires have been removed. Failure to respond within the 10 days will cost you $50.00.

Do not wait until the last minute to get your tires changed over.
