Water sample kits, update

Water testing kits and instructions for use will be issued beginning Tuesday, Oct. 17 between noon and 7:00 p.m. at the Kenai Peninsula Borough mobile bus at the Seward High School. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 19, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Miscellaneous work for winter shutdown.

Removing debris/gravel from Railway will continue. Other flood repair is waiting for further assessment.

Temporary Guidelines For Disposal Of Flood Debris At Seward Transfer Facility

Waste will be accepted for disposal at the Seward Transfer Facility at different staging areas depending on the type of debris, and should be segregated accordingly.
− Construction/demolition debris – building materials
− Logs/stumps should be cut in no longer than six-foot lengths if possible
− Brush
− Regular household garbage will go in transfer bay
